Cathy Williams and Raina Addy, collectively known as Best Friends and Raina's Grooming have both been in the grooming industry for 23 years.

We each had a successful grooming salon and joined forces approximately 12 years ago. We combined our individual skills to create the finest grooming salon the Niagara Region has to offer. Our present salon, Best Friends and Raina's Grooming is the largest and most up to date grooming salon in the Niagara Region.

As the salon's clientele expanded we began looking without success for qualified groomers who could meet our high standard of grooming. We feel that we are not just average groomers, but highly qualified pet stylists. We both decided that we needed to teach grooming in order to pass on our knowledge and experience. Thus, Best Friends & Raina's Academy of Grooming was created.

We have trained students as young as 17 to 64 years young. Men and women who have gone on to become successful groomers. Many of our students have gone on to open their own grooming salon's or have become valued employees.

We are thrilled to teach students who are as passionate about animals as we are. Employers want hands on experience and that is what Best Friends & Raina's Academy of Grooming offers. Our philosophy is that groomers need to educate their clients, not only on pet hygiene but also health and wellness. We believe in the natural ways of feeding and treating pets and pass this knowledge on to our students.
